Kahan Academy
Khan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a learning board that works best for students and at their own pace even outside of the classroom. Khan Academy provides videos and lessons on math, history, science, computing history, art history, economics, and more, also including K-14, and test preparation which includes, SAT, Praxis, and LSAT. The Academy focuses on skill mastery to help learners to establish a strong foundation. Khan Academy is free for all learners and teachers.
Starfall
Starfall is a free website/application that is safe for parents, students, and teachers to use. In the Starfall classroom and Starfall website, children will have fun while learning in an environment of collaboration, wonderment, and play. Starfall teaches through positive reinforcement to ensure the students become confident, intrinsically motivated, and successful.
BrainPop
BrainPop is a free application that engages students to learn by playing games, animated movies, and activities. It allows both the teachers and students to be involved in the learning process. Students can answer questions in a playful assessment that allows students to explain their reasoning while playing a game. It's designed with relevance, depth, and humor to encourage students on their unique learning paths. BrainPop helps teachers with their needs by providing classroom-optimized tools. The application provides BrainPop Jr for kids (K-3), Brainpop (for upper elementary and middle school students), and BrainPop ELL (an English-based program for all ages.)
